We all go through rough times in our lives. Some pass, some marks and defines us as a person and some leaves a scar. This is what makes you “YOU”, throughout all the good and the bad. We all need that extra support, healing to overcome certain chapters in our life.
When we start acknowledging the pain, we can start healing and move on in our life without the trauma. Acknowledging, talking about it, finding tools, letting go, working on the conscious and subconscious are the magic tools for healing. Even though we live in a society where everything needs to be instant and perfect, we need to understand that healing takes time. It is a process where YOU are the driving factor.
We will guide and support you in the right direction but YOU hold all the power. Together we can work towards a better understanding of the trauma and heal it. Remember when you have a physical scar, no cream or method can heal the scar instant. It takes time and good care, creams for example are tools that can help the process but won’t heal. This is the same for our conscious and subconscious mind. We will work on both by handing out tools and reiki to enhance your healing process. Let’s start together towards a brighter future.
We offer coaching sessions in combination with Reiki.
What is Reiki?
The word “Reiki” means “mysterious atmosphere, miraculous sign.” It comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life energy.
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique. The predominate form of reiki practiced throughout the world today, also known as Usui reiki, was created by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. It’s a complementary or alternative health approach. Reiki does not directly cure diseases or illnesses. Instead, it’s used as a way to manage symptoms and improve general well-being.
Energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or even emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness.
Energy medicine aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure. Improving the flow of energy around the body can enable relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness.
What are the benefits of Reiki?
Reiki is linked to a range of physical and emotional health benefits, including better sleep, improved mood, and pain relief in published studies. Research suggests Reiki helps the body return to a state of relaxation, which allows it to potentially better heal from damage brought on by stress, injury, or disease.
Reiki is increasingly offered in hospital, hospice, and private practice settings, applied to a variety of illnesses and conditions. Those who receive such treatments report relief of symptoms from numerous health challenges, including mental health issues. Research shows that reiki primarily helps in the reduction of stress, anxiety and depression, as well as relief of chronic pain — the last of which can bring on anxiety and depression, or make episodes worse
Let’s start together towards a brighter future.
There is no right or wrong in terms of seeking help, meaning that you can be already in therapy, do activities that are therapeutic or it is your first time to reach out. Not one way is better than the other, it is all what works for you and where you feel comfortable with. Whether it is your first time or years of therapy, together we find the right balance for YOU that works.
Everyone is wired differently and has different needs. In our first meeting we will see where you are “now’ and plan how we can get to our goal step by step. All sessions can take up to 2 hours to ensure the flow. Pick out a day that is just for you, with no commitments in a calm and quiet environment . The sessions are intense and you will need to reflect and relax after each session. We work not only on your conscious mind but finish every session with a reiki healing to ensure the healing on the subconscious level. Which for some can be really intense.
